Needs Improvement

I recently purchased the Greeting Card Maker app from Wombat with great hopes. Unfortunately, the app needs a lot of work to provide more and better card templates. I was surprised at how few cards were available for each category and the graphics were not on par with even the graphics for the app logo which I thought was pretty good.

It was great to see a nice Happy Hanukah card. Unfortunately, they used a 7 candle menorah (which is used on Friday nights to celegrate the Sabbath) rather than the 9 candle menorah that is used to celebrate Hanukah. This issue can be readily fixed. Hopefully, Wombat will use the correct menorah after reading this review.

When I went to Wombat’s website to raise these issues, it would not accept comments unless I agreed to add their cookies to my computer which I don’t want to do.

I really hope Wombat takes the steps to make this a really great app — unfortunately, more work is needed before it is ready for prime time.
